Having wanted to play guitar since I was young, but never having the opportunity to either get guitar lessons or to have time to practice guitar playing lessons, it wasn’t until recently that I had time to start looking at what’s available and how to start.
There is a fair variety out there of products available. I had decided to go with online guitar lessons that I could download and practice when it suited me. Being a night owl, there aren’t too many local guitar teachers that will give lessons at 10pm.
So far we have progressed through the introductory stage, and am now working on chords. I still haven’t decided exactly what type of guitar to get but the Gibson Les Paul sounds really cool. And there’s lots you can do with it. Otherwise the Gibson SG Special also sounds great, and it’s not quite as heavy. But then there are some guitar players that play acoustic guitars too that sound fantastic.
Maybe I’ll just have to try out a few and see how I go. Then when my guitar lessons have got me good enough, there’s always the option of having more than one…
